By the end of the game I have a Knight and too many pawns for my opponent to even hope to win so this is why he resigned. However we should always play out our games - you never know what might happen as you opponent may STALEMATE YOU! I hope you enjoyed the game - Coach Sean.

A GAME FOR THOSE WHO LIKE THE "DARK" SIDE OF THE LOPEZ or "DON'T BLAME THE OPENING - JUST PLAY YOUR BEST!"
This is a recent game from the SUPER TOURNAMENT - "MELODY AMBER CHESS TOURNAMENT" held every year - usually during the month of March. More about this event for our players later on. For now just enjoy this awesome game of chess - Coach Sean.

A WONDERFULLY INSTRUCTIVE GAME!
The following game is a remarkable struggle. I really enjoyed looking at this game and felt that it should be shared with all of my students. At various points during this contest first one side would be winning and then the other side would be winning. In the end a draw seems a fair result - with many lessons for all of my players to learn from just this one game.
Do not feel like you have to remember every name of every variation that I point out during the opening phase of this game. I just wanted to put that information out there for the curious students who want know what the names of these variations are. In time these positions will mean more to all of my students... but that can be dealt with in good time. We are not in any hurry here!
Enjoy this fascinating struggle! - Coach Sean.
